It is interesting to see the disparity between the amount of food in the grocery store and the amount of food someone gets in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, or SNAP. Some go on food stamps while others go without. I am not sure why. The government is clearly failing the people in need.

It is obvious that the government is not doing its job. So why not give SNAP money to people who don’t need it? Why not give people in need food stamps? Why not give people who don’t need it food stamps? All of the above are just simple questions.

Well, it’s not like food stamps are going to miraculously disappear. In fact, if you’re reading this you already do have SNAP. In theory, it is a great idea. In reality, it only makes things worse.

The idea of SNAP making people better off than they would be without it is actually quite a stretch. SNAP is a government program intended to help offset the cost of government-mandated programs, such as medicare, social security, and medicaid. SNAP is also the primary source of cash assistance for the elderly and people with disabilities.

The good news is that the program has been on the decline of late. It peaked in 2006 at roughly 1.6 million people, and it’s now at its lowest point since the program was instituted. The bad news is that the SNAP program is only being expanded for people over 65.

That’s why we’re here. We’ve been working for a couple of years to see if we could help expand the SNAP program, which is the primary source of cash assistance for the elderly and people with disabilities. Now there are approximately 1.6 million elderly people and over 100,000 people with disabilities who qualify for SNAP. That’s more than half of all Americans who receive benefits.

I think anyone who’s ever been on food stamps, or who’s ever been on a mailing list for it, knows what you’re getting yourself into. The SNAP program has been around for a long time now, the idea is that the government should provide some assistance to those who need assistance. The problem is that the SNAP program is extremely expensive, and they only take about 30% of what the recipients receive.

The problem is that the government doesn’t take a very good picture of what people are eating. In fact, many people who go on SNAP are not even sure if they are on the program. The government is trying to get around this by making it seem that SNAP recipients are eating better than average, when in fact a large percentage of the people on SNAP are living in poverty.

And while SNAP is a good way to help those on the bottom line, there are many more efficient ways for the government to help the most needy, as we are going to talk about in the next segment.
