I’m the Dollar General district manager. I do lots of different things in my job. I manage a couple of warehouses, I run a small sales team, I help out with the office, and I take on other projects as well. I do a lot of different things, but I love being able to do them well.
That’s why I love being paid to do things that I love. I love the fact that I get to do so many different things! But being paid to do so many different things also means that I have to figure out how to make a living. And that’s something that I’ve struggled with my entire career.

I can even do some of them in a different way. I can sell a ton of stuff, but I also have to be really good at making a sale. I’m paid to make sales, but I’m paid to sell lots of things.
Most people who make sales have to sell a lot of stuff, but Dollar General is one of the best Ive ever seen at making sales, and I think this is why Ive been able to keep working doing this all my life. I have to make sales because I love what I do and I enjoy being in sales.
