It’s kind of strange that the first grill pan we tested had a handle that was the same length as a kitchen towel. The towel would not fit into the pan. After some more research we learned that you can use a rubber band to secure a towel to a grill pan. It’s just that we didnt know where to find a rubber band, and were unable to find one at big box stores to tie to our grill pan.

We also used a small plastic shopping bag with our items in it to secure the towel to the grill pan.

It was at Dollar General that we first saw the new grill pan. We were so excited that we just had to get it.

A few minutes after buying the grill pan we realized we had overlooked the rubber band-in-a-box one. We were so excited to finally have our grill pans secured in a way that will make them easier to clean, that we spent almost a half hour in the store looking for a rubber band. Thankfully, there is no need to go to a big box store. We ordered a cheap one at Home Depot and got it in two or three days.
