This summer, I will be interning for General Electric in its Advanced Technology Center. I will be working on a variety of tasks and projects, ranging from research to developing software.
General Electric has been a client of ours for quite some time now. When we first started working with them, they didn’t have an internal IT department, so we were doing our own internal IT consulting. We have also been in business with General Electric for over a decade now, so it’s not surprising that we have a lot of experience with this type of software.
I am the technical director at General Electric, and work with some of the best and most talented engineers in the world. I love what I do, and I love the industry I work in. General Electric is a very interesting company, and I am always excited to work with them.
The internships are just that; interning. You get to work with the most talented engineers in the world, learn what they do, be with them for a while, and then go home and start the next intern job. The problem is this is a very, very long process. First you have to be hired by the company, then you go through a hiring process that lasts about three years.
The company is extremely secretive about this whole process, because they want to prevent any possible internal leaks. So you’re not allowed to talk to anyone from the outside. You also have to submit a resume and a one-page letter of reference. This is the hardest part of the entire process, because it’s a lot of work to be able to find the right people. You also have to be able to write an impressive one-page letter. This is where I always get lost.
The first step of the process involves a “consultation,” where you’ll be asked to take a few general tests to determine if your personality is compatible with the company. Your resume is then read by a human being who has to look through it and make a determination on how it’s written. I’m not even sure if its really a human being but its so hard and time-consuming.
You can’t write a resume without a human being reading it.
I don’t want to give too much away, but during the resume reading process, a human will ask you questions regarding your personality. These questions will be from a list of 25 questions, and they will cover a wide range of topics, including how you approach work, your likes/dislikes, what you think is interesting, etc. As a result, you will have to answer these questions yourself.
This is the process of giving an interview to a prospective job candidate. The interview is a series of questions and answers, and they are in the form of a question-and-answer list. This question-and-answer list is a sort of a mini resume. A human will ask you a few of these questions, and you will be expected to answer those questions yourself. If you do not answer a question, the human will ask you to do so.
Generally, jobs are a chance to spend a little bit of your days doing something totally different from what you usually do. With that said, internships are an opportunity to not only learn more about a particular topic, but also to get a taste of what it’s like to spend days doing something you might not be able to do with a regular job. For instance, if you’re a mechanical engineer, you will get to be in control of a whole bunch of different machines.
