Its like when you can read a book, but instead of reading it is reading something. Well you know when someone reads a book, they can feel what the author is feeling. This isn’t the case with meta-cognition. As a result of the mental exercise, you can actually read someone’s mind.

Its a term that is used to describe the same activity as self-awareness, but it is more specific. Meta-cognition involves the ability to read others mind, but you can actually read someone. This is how a person can really feel what they are feeling.
